Coach Carter is a really rather good film. Love Samuel L Jackson. All moralistic too.

Off to Stirling tomorrow. Then to Mull for a long weekend! Can't wait, though I want to go see all the Balamory places! As I've said before that program scares me, but I will have to post Balamory pics even if Vicky kills me for taking them in the first place!

Scary biscuits - saw my credit card balance today! What shall one do about it?! Hee hee! Oh well lucky I sorted out my money for travel etc and can cover it.

New Ikea catalogue - oooh shiny pretty things!

My floaty balloon is looking rather sad - it's only just hovering over the table. I didn't mention that I got a balloon when I left work - thank you to Michelle! Not the best idea to drive with it though! Had to drive to Cheshire Oaks with it from work and it kept getting in the rear-view mirror. Entertaining on the motorway!

I'm going to have to learn all about Basketball and American Football and Baseball. So here's my guess at them...

Basketball - like netball, but you can move with the ball. Don't think they have the same restrictions on player movements either. Scoring, well I'm never good at know how people score in games where it's a variable, so I'll just ignore that!

American Football - like Rugby. That game I don't understand either! So I don't think I'll ever understand.

Baseball - very much like Rounders and I understand rounders so I'm thinking I can understand Baseball.

Oh dear they lost the game. Ah well there's always next season! Ah final moral at the end of the story.

Current Mood: chipper chipper

I don't think you're allowed to compare football and rugby o_O

American football has pads, cheerleaders, and the team is divided into defence and offence and they swap over. There're sticks on chains and lots of pads. Did I mention the pads? And helmets. And silly wide tops. When they cheer, we cheer. :D

I know, but I was generalising. I don't get rugby and I don't get American Football. I know they have pads - very amusing really what with the big shirts 10sizes too big and what not! Poor dears - wonder what they'd do in a rugby scrum?!

*giggles* yeah but what would happen with out the padding. I think they'd run scared myself! Grrrr rugby bois! Also rugger boys wear shorter shorts and a lot less lycra!

Is rugger different to rugby? Or is it just something public schoolboys say in Enid Blyton stories?
