My immediate and future plans (well two weeks anyway!) - Keeper of the Cages
My immediate and future plans (well two weeks anyway!)
Well lets start with Friday. Friday was a shiny day except for all the rain and the thunder and lightening. I don't mind rain and I don't mind lightening it's the thunder that gets to me. Anyway me and my Dad went for a walk. The plan was to go to one of the castles nearby, but the silly woman there said we couldn't walk up the hill due to the storm. Didn't stop us though we walked to the other hill, which happened to be the one that the lightening was aiming at, but meh! Was a nice walk and shall be heading back to actually go to the castle some day soon.

Came home early, after stopping at the station in the forest to get THE BEST ice cream ever! Mmmm Rum and Raisin and Turkish Delight. The central heating dude was coming round so Dad had to be back for that. Hence I didn't check my mail until like 4.50pm and found a lovely e-mail from the company I applied to for a job saying that they want me to go for an interview 24th May. Evil part being it's at 5.20pm and I was planning on heading up to Scotland that day because I'm going for dinner at Vicky's on the Thursday night. Oh well just means I have to get up early on Thursday or just head up anyway on the Wednesday after the interview.

Yesterday being Saturday was the Cup Final in Cardiff between Westham and Liverpool. I totally didn't dare watch the match and anyway what with my brother shouting downstairs when anything happened I really didn't need to! Bad part being that we got to penalties. Obviously Liverpool won by the skin of their teeth, but it was a win all the same! Very happy about that.

I was being random and decided that I was going to see what things I could get tickets to in London for the week after the bank holiday. So I am now going to London 30th May to see "Duke Bluebeards Castle" which is an opera being put on at Covent Garden. I'm sitting in the front row of the Grand Tier! In COVENT GARDEN :D! Then the next night I'm going to a theatre in Wimbolden to see the National Ballet perform "The Canterville Ghost". I'm awfully tempted to buy myself a ticke to see the Royal Ballet perform "The Sleeping Beauty" at Covent garden for the Thursday evening too. So I shall be coming home on the Friday. I can't wait!

Hmmmm I'm wondering what plays are going to be on in Stratford in the next couple of weeks and see if I can pursuade Laura and Simon to go. Hamlet was finishing the day before I get down to London so I couldn't go see it. Oh well. Hope Othello or something equally intreguing will be on!

Right better go, but hope you're all having fun and that I made some semblence of sense here!

Love S xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

OTHELLO WOULD ROCK OMG. If the RSC ever put it on again... :D

Oooh, totally ask Casper or Matthew! Because, like, they live there. I'm sure they'd love it, assuming it's just been payday. Which for me, is Wednesday, so I've got not a lot till then because I bought new work shoes and they HURT and I asked for plasters and had to change it to band-aids because I was LAUGHED at. Am such a Brit. :) xxxxxxxxxx

PS Delamere Station? I used to do the ice cream there!!1 Sooo good.

Oh they have, but it was March so I sooo missed and I'm upset about that fact. But Patrick Stewart is going to play Prospero in The Tempest at the end of July so guess where I'm going!!!!!

Yeah and aparently my boy lives there too, but he's fallen off the face of the earth. Next time I'll see if they want to go. This time I already bought the tickets so can't really.

Awww that's sooo cute! Well learn new words yes yes. I learnt a brilliant expressive one today, but it has to be heard for it to work.

Yep yep I adore the ice cream there, though if you go to the actual farm *dies* they have EVERY type you could want there!

I knooooooooooow. I went to the farm place once with Liz. So good. Can't remember where it is now, like. Have to have a getting lost session and find it when I'm back!

Everything is 'when I get home' at the moment. o_O

Mummy and Daddy keep going to Theatr Clywdd to see things, it's quite cool. Or the Gateway. There's something Noel Coward coming up soon that daddy wants to see, but I don't remember which one.

I wants to go to London.... :P

Ah but you are living the exciting now and when you come home you'll have to have a list of the exciting to do here too. Otherwise you'll just go "Meh it's Cheshire again *Is bored*!"

I should do that it'd be cheaper and closer than heading south or north. I was looking at the Gateway stuff, but can't remember what was coming up.

Well you can go to Sydney and you know how I don't really like London. Wish you were here to go with me and hold my hand!

Sydney... meh. I didn't like it to start with. I liked living in Glebe after Irene left though, because I got to know it better. Also, i know where the cinema and proper shops are now, too. But I like London. There's more people there, sure, but it's still prettyful... I definately want to see about moving down at some point. :)

Yeah I guess once you start to learn a place it's easier and you sort of can learn to love it. North dahling is the way to go though ;)

I haven't been in the north for AGES!

And yeah, ok, it's not like I'll ever be able to even PRETEND to be southern if I wanted to. WHich I don't. Because it involves an accent!! But maybe I could be posh? Heeheee. No YAHing though. :P

Well as soon as you're back I'm taking you up. I mean you haven't been to the Vodka bar in Edinburgh or anything!

Yes you can be posh. Just keep with what you have and take it up a notch, not a YAH in sight! (or do I mean sound?! lol!)

I can totally talk the Queen's English, like.

I think it's called 'Kathryn's polite mode'. :)
